Uluwatu Temple

Uluwatu temple is one ot the oldest temple in Bali, located at Pecatu village around 25 kms from Denpasar (the capital of Bali). The temple was built by a Hindu holy priest name's Mpu Kuturan in 11 century to dedicated of the God Rudra. The temple is stand on the coral hill stick out in to the sea about 80 meters on the sea level.

Kecak and Fire dance

Kecak Dance performed on the eastern side of Uluwatu Temple., The Kecak dance performance is very simple. The men's chorus chants the words Cak ke-cak ke-cak ke-cak ke-cak ke-cak, in rhythm, over and over again, For this reason they are called the Kecak or Cak dance. The Kecak dances consist of about fifty men wearing only a loin-cloth, the upper part of their bodies left bare. They form rows of circles, in teh middle of which is a coconut oil lamp. The Kecak dance is performed for dance-dramas and the story presented is take from the Ramayana epic. Ticket fee at 50,000 rupiahs/person

Jimbaran Bay located on the southern part of Ngurah Rai (Denpasar) International Airport. The beach has white sans. This is one of the fisherman village with own fish market, and Jimbaran is welknown with the beachside seafood restaurant and a nice place to see the sunset while enjoying the grilled seafood dinner.
