Barong and Kris Dance
Batubulan village is located in
Gianyar regency around 30 minutes from Kuta. This
village welknown as the place of Barong and Kris
dance performance and the stone carving center.
The Barong dance start at 09.30 AM and finish at
10.30 AM. The Barong play represent an eternal
fighting bethween good and evil spirit. A Barong
(a mythological animal) represent good spirit and
Rangda (a mythological monster ) represent the
evil one. The Balinese people also believe that
Barong is a symbol of protector. There are many
kinds of barong but mostly are Barong Ket (Lion
face, Barong macan (tiger face), Barong Bangkal
(Page face, Barong Landung (Human face), The ticket

Silver, Painting and Wood Carving
The gold and silver
smith is at Celuk village, the location is jnighbore
with Batubulan village. there are a lot of hug silver
shop in this village. The wood carving village name's
Kemenuh village is produce very good quality of wood
carving made from very hard wood such as teak, mahogany,
ebony and hibiscus wood. All the woods imported from
Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi and Borneo (Kalimantan).
Painter village name's Batuan and Lod Tunduh village.
The artist zt this village created a lot of variaties
of painting even in modern or traditional style.
One unique is they also paint on the eggs.

Monkey
Forrest
The monkeys within
the secred forrest of Padang Tegal are commonly long
tiled macaques. Their scientific name is Macaca fascicuiaris.
In Bali there are Balinese long tiled macaque troops
(populations) that live in areas where they have litle
to no contact with the humans and Troops that come
in to contact with the humans on a reguler basis. On
the western part of the forrest is Dalem temple dedicated
of the Siwa God. In the eastern part is Cemetry and
Prajapati temple dedicated of Durga god (wife of the
Siwa God). Entrance ticket cost 10.000 rupiah/person.

Ubud Market
The
Ubud arts market and Ubud palace located exactly in
central Ubud. There are various of handicrafts, arts
and other souvenirs with reasonable price. the Ubud
Palace is just on the oposite of the market. Every
evening usually performed traditional Balinese dance
in this place such as Legong dance, Barong dance, Ramayana
and Mahabharata ballet.

Taman Ayun Temple
Taman
Ayun located at Mengwi village, huge state temple of
Mengwi kingdom surrounded by wide moat, and it was
built in 1634. Outside yard with open grassy expanse
and meeting hall for held the meeting, dance performance
and sometime cockfighting. Midle yard built high wood
bell (kulkul). Outside tard and midle yard separated
by open gate. From midle yard to inner courtyard separated
by close gate. Inner courtyard has a lot of multitiered
shrines(Meru). From the first till the highest one.
The visitor allowing to the inner courtyard from outside
only. Entrance ticket fee 3.000 rupiah/person.

Tanah Lot
Temple
Tanah Lot temple
is one of the populer tourism object in Bali, located
at Beraban village in Tabanan regency it is about
30 kms from denpasar.The temple is on the edge of
the beach on the small rock island facing to Indonesian
ocean. The temple was built by one of Hindu holy
priest from Java name's Danghyang Nirartha in 16
century. On the northern side of temple there is
a cave as a place of ocean snakes live. They are
stripe snakes with black and whit colours. The snake
is very tame and Balinese people believed they are
